At Fiumed, we think about the patient's experience in the office and how to make it as pleasant as possible.
Reception
After entering the office, you will arrive directly at the reception. The nurse will greet you at the reception. If the nurse is busy with another patient, please ring the bell and wait for her to address you. Depending on the reason for your visit, the nurse will either resolve everything at the reception, invite you to her room, or ask you to wait in the waiting room for further processing.
Hand Sanitizer Dispensers
There are two contactless hand sanitizer dispensers in the office. The first one is located on the wall to the left immediately at the entrance, before the reception. The second one is in the waiting room.
Place your hand under the dispenser, which will automatically spray the ideal amount of disinfectant.
Waste Disposal
There are two trash bins available to you. The first one is on the wall near the reception. The second one is in the patient restroom.
Video Cameras
For security purposes, there are several video cameras inside and outside the office. The video cameras are positioned to record the entrances to the office outside working hours.
Video cameras do not record during working hours and do not violate your privacy. They are not located in the waiting room, doctor's office, or nurse's room.
Wireless Internet Access
An open and free wireless network is set up in the office.
The WiFi network name is 'Fiumed' and you can freely connect to it with your devices.
When you select this network in your device settings, you will open a connection screen. All you need to do to start browsing is click 'Start'.
Fiumed Tablets
There are two tablet computers in the waiting room. The tablets are connected to the Internet and are intended for patients. You are free to use them for education and entertainment while waiting for your appointment.
With these tablets, you can only browse the Internet, while other applications and settings are locked.
In the future, we want to make the tablets even more useful by loading various educational content, as well as applications through which you will be able to fill out health questionnaires, for example.
Device Charger
There is also a charger for electronic devices in the waiting room. The Fiumed tablets are connected to and charged on it. However, there is room for additional devices on the charger, and you are free to charge your electronic devices, such as mobile phones.
Currently, two USB-C cables are connected to the charger through which you can charge your devices. If your device doesn't fit a USB-C cable and you've brought your own, feel free to connect it to the first available port on the charger. We have done everything to ensure the safety of the charger, which we have also additionally tested. We are not responsible for any damage that may occur to your devices during charging.
Air Purifier
In the waiting room, along with an additional fan, there is also an air purifier. The air purifier contains a medical HEPA filter and continuously cleans the air of harmful particles and gases.
In the waiting room, as in other parts of the office, there is also a gas and carbon monoxide detector. This detector warns with a loud sound signal in case of detection of harmful gases in the air.
