Privacy

A short, plain account of what this site does with your data. There is no hidden tracking, and most of what is described here is technically necessary for the site to work.

Who handles your data

Ustanova za zdravstvenu skrb Fiumed, Josipa Završnika 7, 51000 Rijeka, Croatia. For any question about your data write to ordinacija_potok@fiumed.hr.

Cookies

The portal asks for no cookie consent because it uses only one, technically necessary session cookie: it remembers your language and protects the forms from abuse, and the site does not work without it. We set no advertising or tracking cookies.

Visit statistics

We count visits with our own tool (Rybbit) on our own server in the European Union. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. It records which page was opened, where you came from, your language and screen size. Your IP address is immediately turned into a shortened code that changes every day, so you cannot be identified from it. We use the data only to see which pages are useful.

Forms (sick leave for a child's care)

When you submit a sick-leave request, the form data and attached documents are stored in the portal and emailed to the practice. This is health data, processed because we provide you with health care, like all other data in the practice. Only practice staff can see it. The request and attached documents are kept as part of the practice's medical records, for as long as the rest of your records in the practice.

Chat with Fiumed AI

Questions you type into the chat are sent to our server in the European Union, and the answer is generated by an external artificial-intelligence service whose servers may be outside the European Union. The conversation in your browser lasts until you close the tab. On our server, questions and answers are kept for seven days together with the IP address for abuse protection, then deleted automatically. Please do not type personal data (name, insurance number, ID number, test results) into the chat — it is meant for general questions about the practice.

Content from Google

Some pages embed a Google map or a YouTube video, and the fonts are loaded from Google's servers. When such content is shown, Google may record your IP address and set its own cookies under Google's privacy policy.

Your rights

You can ask to see the data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and you can complain to the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (azop.hr). The quickest way is to write to ordinacija_potok@fiumed.hr.
